This picture is for my mom who's been fretting over the steepness/depth of the stairs in our house. I also looked again at the plans, Mom, and they are 10" treads with 7-something" rises... so take a look at the photo, but you can also go measure the steps in your house and see how ours conform ;) pictured here are the ones going up to the master bedroom.
